What I'm reading now.

As part of my 2014 goals, I wanted to get back to reading more.  One of the easiest ways to do this is to raid my classroom.  So, here's what on my to-read list right now.

The Night She Disappeared

How to Save a Life

The 5th Wave

The Divergent Series (Yes, it's still on my list and in my living room...will be read before the movie premiers in March.)

I just finished John Green's The Fault in Our Stars....this book had so much hype surrounding it that I waited to read it.  I was told over and over again that ohmygoshit'samazing and itwillchangeyourlife...welp, I disagree.  It was good, don't get me wrong, but I still think Green's Looking for Alaska is his best book yet.

And to be completely honest, there wasn't much rhyme or reason for my picks this time around...ha, they just happened to be on the top of the stack closest to me.

So to keep me reading this year, tell me what you're reading.  I know Nicholas Sparks has a new book (The Longest Ride) out that I need to read (yep, a sucker for old Sparks over here) and I'm sure I could round up some cheesy romance novels, but I'm always on the lookout for some good reads.  So, please share!  What are you reading in 2014?

p.s. Yes, these are affiliate links to Amazon, but I'd be ever so appreciative if you were to use them should you decide to buy. =)

  1. Have you read the Legend series yet? My kids at school can't get enough.

  2. I've been dying to read The 5th Wave! On the waiting list for my library... can't wait to hear how you like it! Hope you like the Divergent series, I couldn't put it down. May have neglected the husband a bit until I finished it. (Just kidding!) ;)

  3. I am finishing the Mortal Instruments series. I also plan to read the prequel, the Clockwork series. The Divergent series sounds like a great idea too.
