| Baby girl is hanging out transverse this week. |
How far along? 37 weeks...full-term...holy moly, it suddenly feels real...although she better stay put! ;)
How big is baby? According to thebump.com -- baby is the size of a winter melon (what is a winter melon? is it fruity?) 18.9-20.9 inches long and weighing in at 6.2-9.2 lbs. (Quite the range there bump guides...lol.) Fundal height today was actually 38 instead of 37, surprising since she is once again transverse...little stinker.
Weight gain? 192.8 -- up 2 lbs. from last week (although I should be thankful that's it with how hungry I've been this week!) -- up 41.4 lbs total. I'd really like to stay under 45 at this point, we'll see. I don't plan to starve myself by any means, but dude, I'm really hoping not to break 200...that's freaks me out.
Maternity clothes? I just feel like saying, "Duh." to this one at this point. ;) I'm also thinking about more nursing tops/bras....might need to get on this. Oh and I need c-section friendly undies...better remember to pick up some granny panties. ;)
Stretchmarks? Nothing new...yet....
Sleep? Is not my friend. I've definitely reached that uncomfortable stage...turning over is awkward, laying on either side isn't really comfortable. For some reason, either my arms or legs go numb if I lay on one side or the other and well, sleeping on your back is a no-no, so with all of that and the random scar tissue stretching (from my gallbladder surgery), well, sleep is evading me.
Best moment this week? Getting our swing (and for FREE)! We didn't have a swing (we borrowed one last time from a friend who is now expecting again) and we got lucky...a co-worker of mine had a like-new Snug-a-bunny swing that she wasn't using (they decided not to have any more kids) so she wanted to pass it along to me. SCORE! Super thankful for that one!
Movement? Lots and it's still uncomfortable. I'm guessing a lot of this is because she's transverse and flipping around so much.
Food cravings? Still junk....mainly cupcakes from Hy-Vee, cookies, and ice cream...super healthy right?

Water intake? Still more than the 32 oz. a day, but not quite 64...still drinking ice water throughout the night (which doesn't help the pee/sleep ratio).
Gender? Little miss.
Labor signs? A couple random BH...maybe...it could just be her weird movement.
Belly button in or out? Totally out...still creepy to me. My sister thought it was hilarious today - just wait until she's knocked up someday. ;)
What I miss? Sleep, feeling rested, not waddling.
What I am looking forward to? Feb. 22...it's my actual due date, but also the last day of the trimester at work. Three weeks people, three weeks. Pray I don't junk punch a student, because seriously...it could happen. (Ok, sonotreally, BUT some days my patience is a little thin.) Oh and little miss has to stay inside that weekend, my OB is out of town for her son's state swim meet...oy...you know my luck.
Weekly Wisdom? "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." Don't be too proud to pray.
