| Yep, my phone is in my back pocket...smooth. ;) |
How far along? 34 Weeks...and all of sudden I feel like the end is so far away...lol, I know it's not, but I've gotten so uncomfortable that I just keep thinking 6 more weeks?!?
How big is baby? According to thebump.com -- baby girl is the size of a butternut squash, between 4.2-5.8 lbs. and 17.2-18.7 inches long.

| Less than six hours into my day. |
Weight gain? 189 lbs...UGH....up a total 37.6 lbs. Yes, that means I gained 4 effing lbs. in the last week. Granted, that jar of frosting I devoured in 4 nights probably didn't help, but seriously?!? 4 lbs. in one week? UNREAL. However, I will say, the swelling has gotten out.of.control! Take a look for yourself (look to the right). I'm really hoping most of this latest weight gain is water... (p.s. ignore how crazy-sexy-attractive my legs look...hehe..sad)
Maternity clothes? Yes. T-shirts are getting too small (look for pics below) for bed, but the worst thing this week? My shoes. The swelling is the worst in my lower half and holy moly, my shoes (and even my boots) are soooo snug. I may break down this weekend and head out for a new pair either a size bigger or at least in wide...or both.
Stretchmarks? Nothing new...yet. I'm still lathering on the lotion at night.
Sleep? Mark it in the books! I slept through the night last night (and don't ask how...I drank so much water yesterday/last night I should have been up five times). It was amazing.... Other than that, eh, it's not great. My hips never really hurt the last time I was pregnant, but this time they hurt. My arms/hands also swell so bad (even laying down) that it'll wake me up and I have to roll over.
Best moment this week? Winning a $100 gift card to my local grocery store! (It was seriously a blessing...more on this later.)
Movement? Lots and most of it's uncomfortable. At my appt. Wednesday she was laying transverse so my fundal measurement was 32 instead of 33, but I'll take that with a grain of salt due to her position. I felt her flip earlier this week so it didn't surprise me, but I am hoping she flips back soon.
Food cravings? Mac and cheese...homemade. And cake with buttercream frosting. I have yet to satisfy the cake craving, but I did rock some mac and cheese this week.
Water intake? This week has been pretty great! I think actually hit 64 oz. most days. I have just been soooo thirsty lately it's unreal.
Gender? Little miss.
Labor signs? Just what I think are some random BH, but really, sometimes it's hard to tell if it's her or an actual Braxton Hicks contraction.
Belly button in or out? The belly button is officially out while standing (not a lot just a little) and about half the time while sitting/laying down. It's weird and creeps me out.
What I miss? Not retaining water/swelling...also, my hips are starting to widen out and I hate it. A. It hurts. B. It makes me look sooooo big. =(
What I am looking forward to? Right now, I'm looking forward to MLK Day...I just realized we have school off that day and I can't wait to have another day off.
Weekly Wisdom? Pray to the Lord about your fears and stresses, He will carry your burden for you. I need to remember this now more than ever.

Thanks! I just got lucky..lol, for once! ;) I entered on the local grocery store's facebook page and low and behold, I won! So thankful!
DeleteI thought your bump looked different in the picture, I guess it is because of her flipping. Cute hairdo!
ReplyDeleteI know! I think it looks goofy. I thought of your comment on Sunday when it looked different again. It's kind of funny to be able to see like that! WEIRD.
DeleteYou look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYou look so great! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! =)
DeleteMy hips hurt sooo bad when pregnant with my daughter (and I swelled up like crazy!). I am about three weeks behind you this pregnancy (with a boy) and this pregnancy different from my last! Boy/girl thing?! Maybe!
ReplyDeleteI agree! I feel like this pregnancy has been so different from my last. It must be a boy/girl thing. I do not remember my hips hurting at all. I do remember the swelling, but I had a TON of sciatic pain with him....I'm think I'd rather deal with the hips (ask me again in a few weeks if I still think that...lol).
Delete:) Sweet.. God bless you and your baby (coming-soon) :)she or he will look amazing just like the mom :) take care.. Hugs xoxo
